SEAoNY Scholarship

Two students in RIME Group, Christopher Sholy and Jonathan Rodriguez, received 2016 Scholarship from SEAoNY http://www.seaony.org/. SEAoNY (Structural Engineers Association of New York) is a member organization to the largest structural engineering organization in the country. They work to adopt updated codes and many of the members have contributed to ASTM and ACI standards. The awards were given to the students by Mr. Bill Phelan, a well known member of this industry. The meeting gave us insight about how the organization was and functions internally. Mr. Phelan gave the awards himself, and was also the chooser of the winners.
