Tristate of AAAEA (The Arab American Association of Engineers and Architects) is a non-profit, non-political, non-religious professional organization for New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. It is open to all architects, engineers and computer science professionals and students of Arab heritage residing in the USA.
Dr. Nassif and the RIME Group received the New Jersey Department of Transportation - Research Implementation Award during the 15th NJDOT Research Showcase for his research project entitled "Elimination of Weight Restriction on Amtrak, NJ Transit, and Conrail Line"
Peng Lou , Ph.D. Candidate, received 2013 outstanding student in transportation award.
The honor was presented by Bureau of Research manager Camille Crichton-Summers and Bureau of Research project engineer, Paul Thomas.
Dr. Ali Naji, from University of Kufa, Iraq, visited the RIME Group on October 17-19, 2013 and held a Seminar on Friday October 18, 2013, entitled "The Role of Ethics, Community Needs, and Body of Knowledge in Setting Research Trends in Developing Countries". (Click here for the Flyer).
Dr. George Tsiatas, Professor of the University of Rhode Island, visited RIME Group to establish a collaborative research with Dr. Hani Nassif. He has discussed about structural health monitoring (SHM) conducted to multiple bridges by RIME Group and advanced concrete material, such as HPC, HES-HPC, and SCC with Dr. Nassif.
Dr. Nassif and his group installed WIM Portable System on Schooley Mountain Road for the NJDOT project. This WIM system was installed to monitor and analyze the truck traffic on the county road.
